About Dr. Barr
Biography: Dr Ronald Barr is an expert in Dermatopathology, a subspecialty of Pathology that involves microscopic interpretation of skin biopsies. He is past president of the American Board of Dermatology and past president of the American Society of Dermatopathology. He is former head of Dermatopathology at University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. He is an expert in the interpretation of pigmented skin lesion biopsies, such as nevi (moles) and melanoma. He regularly leads discussions at the Skin Cancer and Reconstructive Surgery Foundation's monthly Skin Cancer Conference - a monthly meeting designed to further educate our skin cancer specialists on difficult and interesting cases.
